Officials: Over 75,000 attended first day of Aviation Nation
News

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE -- The numbers are in and the amount of people that attended the first day of Aviation Nation was more than what military officials expected.

An official at Nellis Air Force Base said there were over 75,000 people in attendance Saturday at the Aviation Nation Air Show.

This was exciting news for officials at Nellis because it comes on the heels of the show's return.

Aviation Nation was cut last year due to national budget cuts, but it looks like it back with a punch.

The last day of the show is Sunday from 10:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.  It's free and open to the public.

Attendees planning to go to the air show Sunday, should be advised that there are restrictions as to what you will be able to bring, including food and drinks.

Also, pets aren't allowed at the event.  For a list of the best places to park go here.
