Pocono, NASCAR Review Warnings in Fatal Lightning Strike

NASCAR and the raceway in Pennsylvania are looking at procedures for potentially deadly weather at race time.

LONG POND, Pa. - Brian Mattson and Tom Deacher climbed into their truck and got set to leave saturated Pocono Raceway. That's when the lightning bolt slammed into a tent canopy just a couple of rows away from where they parked, shooting off sparks like a Roman candle.

A Double Rainbow Kind of Morning

A famous saying goes, "No rain, no rainbows."

The valley endured plenty of rain in the past two days and now the rainbows are here, as captured by 8 News Now viewer Raul Valtierra. This double rainbow appeared near Las Vegas Boulevard and Craig Road.
