First Registration Deadline Saturday for City Election | Politics
The deadline to register for the upcoming North Las Vegas municipal election is approaching fast.
The North Las Vegas Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, June 7. Polls will be open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.
The last day to register to vote or to update voter registration, without having to appear in person at the City Clerk’s Office is Saturday. Any qualified elector may register to vote during the final 10 days of in-person voter registration at the City Clerk’s Office, beginning Sunday, May 8 through Tuesday, May 17. The City Clerk’s Office will be open for Close of Voter Registration as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 8
- 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Monday, May 9 through Thursday, May 12
- 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 13 through Tuesday, May 17
Early Voting/In-Office Voting for the City’s Municipal General Election will take place from Wednesday, May 18 through Friday, June 3. Any registered voter residing in the City of North Las Vegas may vote by mail. A written request for a mail ballot must be received by 5 p.m. on May 31, in the office of the Clark County Registrar of Voters. Early Voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Las Vegas City Hall, 2200 Civic Center Drive, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clark County Election Center, 965 Trade Drive, Suite B.
