Traffic Biggest Problem for Future Electric Daisy Carnivals

This year’s Electric Daisy Carnival brought thousands of people to southern Nevada for the three-day music festival.

Planning has already started for next year’s festival. Pat Christenson, the president of Las Vegas Events, says the biggest problem organizers and Las Vegas officials need to tackle is traffic. There are only two ways in and out of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Las Vegas Boulevard and I-15.

“So what we have to do, and what we've talked to them about, is working together to come up with a solution on how we move our traffic in and out of the speedway much more efficiently,” Christenson said.

Christenson presented the results of this year's EDC during Tuesday's Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority board of directors meeting.
